Photography, for me, has never been just about images.

It’s about those moments when a photograph brings you back - not just to what you see, but to everything around it. The feeling, the conversation, the small details you didn’t think you’d remember… until suddenly, you do.

I think we’ve all had that experience - scrolling through photos and stopping at one that makes you say, “Remember this?” And then the story unfolds from there. That’s what I’m drawn to. Not just the picture, but what it holds.

I’ve always been someone who notices and creates - drawn to light, textures, and the quiet beauty in everyday life. I like making things, shaping environments, and finding ways to turn what I see into something visual. Photography gives me that space - endless creativity, connection, and a way to “paint” with my camera.

I’m also a wife of over 20 years and a mother of three, and those relationships have shaped how I see people. They’ve taught me that what matters most isn’t perfection, but connection - the subtle, real moments that often happen in between everything else.

Somewhere in the middle of all of this is Lila, my dog (named after a certain blue alien movie character), who occasionally tries to get right in the middle of a set - especially if we’re in the studio

That’s what I look for when I photograph - whether it’s a wedding, a portrait, or a personal project. Not just how it looks, but how it feels.

Because in the end, photographs aren’t just images - they’re small pieces of a life that keep unfolding over time.
